[ something is recording, it's possible to tell by that faint... rustle and buzz that is present even when no actual sound is made to be recorded and just faintly there's the sound of wind and leaves rustling... But he's not saying anything. Probably unintentionally set the journal to record voice and didn't know how to turn it off.

There are things he wants to ask, he just doesn't know quite where to start. Hyoga seems to realise he's being recorded after a couple minutes of silence...there is still more silence but his gaze is at least fixed on the camera.

Why is there a camera in a book? It is one of many things he doesn't understand. Finally the recording stops and instead there's a neatly written post. ]

How many people live in that village? [ hopefully there's only one village, he was only able to find one...sense one really. Sense where most people seem to be. ]

Are any of the people here native to this place? [ it didn't look like it from what he listened to/read.

And he ends it there. There's a lot more he wants to ask but maybe it'd be better if he could get someone one on one. This is him awkwardly reaching out. ]

[With Smoker gone, again, Ikki has been spending his days mostly training and focusing his Cosmo, trying to get further than the artificially imposed limit this place had. It kept him busy and in solitude. It also was a good way to become quickly aware if the man was back by sensing his Cosmo. At least this time it had been the droids kidnapping him rather than him vanishing, though given how long they kept him the first time Ikki really didn't expect him to return any time soon.

Today, however, is the day of the unexpected apparently as a familiar Cosmo, powerful and trained, suddenly appeared in Luceti. It's funny, after more than two years he had almost forgot their Cosmo signatures, it's strange to feel Hyoga around and very annoying. Out of everyone that could come it had to be Hyoga. Ikki eyes his wolf pet as he pauses in his meditation, he never considered it a problem, to name the animal the same way as Hyoga, it's not as if he expected him or any of the others to ever arrive.

Many others probably would have tackled their journals, hoping to get hold of their friend, or maybe they would have gone out in a rush, trying to find him. Ikki doesn't. He goes back to his own training and business for a good while, letting others explain things to the Cygnus Saint, it's not as if he was in danger either so there was no need to rush. He even doubted there was any need to actually go and meet him, he didn't do that back home so why should he do it here? In fact he doesn't want to meet him, he doesn't want to be faced with a fourteen years old brat, knowing how Luceti worked it was a possibility. But he also knows that Hyoga won't stop until he finds him, it's not hard to do in this place and he would do that as well if he arrived here and one of the others was around, no matter who it was, if it as a Cosmo familiar from home he would go and check on it.

So, eventually and after Hyoga has been updated about his new situation and probably has found more info about Ikki being around and sulked upon not finding a glacier where he could lay down and cry until he fell asleep, Ikki bothers with moving, leaving his apartment followed by a running arctic wolf puppy. Time to find an ice duck. At least he also bothers with expanding his own Cosmo directly to meet Hyoga's so the other can come and find him if he prefers.]

[ If by "found more info about Ikki being around" he means found a little girl that is apparently very fond of Ikki and had his brain a little bit blown...yeah, that happened. sulking about the glacier not so much. And maybe that's partly why he hesitates to approach for a few hours. How long has Ikki been here? Would he even still be the person he knew? But then to begin with he hadn't known Ikki all that well, it would have been easier if it had been Shiryu or Shun. It might have even been preferrable to be here alone, to begin with there was someone that would miss Ikki's absence but the same could be said of people in this place maybe.

He noticed the change in Ikki's Cosmo, permission maybe to find him. Or an invitation to find him, though in the past the latter would have been impossible.

Hyoga waited until he felt Ikki leave the village to approach. He still hadn't entered that place himself. Talking to people through the book had only reminded him acutely of how ill prepared he was to handle people.

Oh, that must be the other "Hyoga-kun." If they were more friends than comrades maybe Hyoga would have known what to say. ]

I didn't think you were a dog person. [ jumping down from a tree.

And for a moment he looks at Ikki and try to gauge how old he is, how long he might have been in this place. He's taller, knowing Ikki as well as he did (not very well) that was about all that he could be sure of. Whether or not there was any subtle difference in how Ikki carried himself, Hyoga couldn't judge. ] How long have you been here?

[It's ironic, if asked Ikki would have said that any of the other Bronze saints would have been far better than him at handling people. Then again it's not as if he ever bothered to check if the problems were only his or not.

By all means of appearances, Ikki's just taking a stroll around the forest accompanied by his pet, he doesn't bother with checking by sight as to where the other can be, he doesn't need that. So when they finally meet and Hyoga appears, still ironic that it would be the Cygnus the one appearing rather than the Phoenix, Ikki still continues on for a few steps before stopping, turning lightly to glance at the other avoiding to turn completely. He doesn't look delighted to have the other around, even if deep down he is glad of seeing at least Hyoga again and well. He ignores the comment about his pet, for now.]

Far too long. What's the last thing you remember from our world?

[... Okay, he didn't really answer the second question. Meanwhile, the little wolf will just look at Hyoga curiously and slowly sniff at him as he approaches him. People who know Ikki and that the animal hasn't met before are a rare event after all.]

[ that answers nothing but he can probably ask someone else if he really wants to know, or ask Ikki again at a later date to see if he'll answer. ] I see.

[ Seiya in a Cosmo coma. For that reason it takes him a moment to answer, doesn't want to actually say that even if it didn't make the results of the battle any less real. It just seems wrong, to say it so lightly. ] We defeated the Hades and left Elysium.

[ and he just watches the wolf sniff at him. it gives him something to do and something to look at. ]

[There's something similar to relief that washes over him the moment he hears that and Ikki finally turns to look at Hyoga completely. Taking into account that he knew nothing of the blonde after their escape from the crashing Elysium that was the closest they would ever be regarding time points.]

I have been here for over two years now. But you will probably be here far less, fortunately.

[It's hard to say if that annoys him or he's just annoyed by Hyoga being here to begin with. Or maybe he's just annoyed at how long he has been here... Or he's annoyed by everything.]

Should I be thankful for that? [ it's not like anyone is going to be looking for him back home. Actually when he thinks about it...it probably doesn't matter where he is regardless of what he wants for himself. ]

You've settled here. [ he's a bit surprised. Or a lot surprised but then there's no choice but to adapt, is there? what surprises him is probably how Ikki adapted, staying in the village and all. ]

[And by his tone it's almost like an order. He has no idea what Hyoga was up to while Shun and Athena were in Mount Olympus, but he's sure that since Athena is on the move neither him nor Shiryu will be missing for long.]

I also settled in Death Queen Island back when we started our trainings. There are hardly more options when one is trapped in a place.

[He snorts, no he doesn't think he has "settled" here.]

They said time doesn't pass the same way, no one has any need for me right now. It doesn't really matter if I'm here or there. [ not saying he's glad to be here but...he's not exactly torn up about it. There's nothing he can do for Seiya.

He eyes the wolf, having a pet is not settling? and he finally holds out a hand for it. Smells like snow? ]

How long I'm here isn't up to me it seems like. [ so he won't dwell on it yet. Give him a few weeks. ]

A girl named Kotomi-chan said to say hi. [ that may be an indirect jab at how weirdo he finds the whole situation. ]

[Ikki eyes him as he holds out a hand for his pet. The wolf sniffles at it cautiously before barking delighted and trying to tackle the hand to lick it.]

It's not, but the last Saint that appeared here besides me wasn't here for longer than a month.

[He will cling to that and hope you get your ass out of here soon. Isn't Ikki nice? Almost sounding as if he doesn't want Hyoga around, but he really thinks the Cygnus is needed back home and... Honestly none of them should be in Luceti so he's not ashamed of "not wanting him there".]

[Kotomi, why are you telling people to say hi to Ikki for you? He just talked with you this morning like always! Ikki makes a mental note of calling her again once he's back at his apartment regardless if it's time for their night chat or not. He doesn't let any of that show, though, replying dryly and in an unimpressed manner. No, he's not going to react to that jab.]

Who was here? [ Hyoga understands the sentiment though, probably. It's not like he wants anyone else here. As far as he's concerned he's probably the best candidate though, no family, no significant other, no one to notice his absence and worry.

And now the wolf puppy is licking him. He resists the urge to pull his hand away, it's just being friendly. There's no need for two unfriendly Hyogas. ]

At least we would still know the same things. [ the important things he means. Saints, Athena, Holy War, Cosmo. He doesn't know how to talk to half the people that responded to him. ]

He doesn't look like he's suitable for the climate here. [ then again it's not like it needs ice but that thick coat can't possibly be comfortable in the summer. Guess Ikki must pick up a lot of wolf hair. ]

He's not. Except for when it's winter, he was his happiest when we were in the middle of a freezing rain.

[He shrugs, summer is a real pain and the animal suffers a lot with it even with Ikki's best attempts to make it bearable for him, but they manage by so it's fine. He's not mentioning the name, but since Hyoga mentioned Kotomi he guesses she told him about it. Didn't she say she would have to call them Hyoga #1 and Hyoga #2? Or something like that.]

[They would need a lot to get him to go to mass, though. Hyoga's next question... Actually there are many things but as blunt as Ikki can be maybe it's better to let the other just... Take in the situation... And see if he's still here next month before worrying him more.]

Let's say that you're going to miss having Thanatos sweeping the Elysium with you.

I have a hard time believing that, but I'll take your word for it.

[ right Ikki, that's not worrying or ominous in the least. If something manages to beat watching his mom die and killing Camus and Isaac he may never be able to himself back together honestly. ]

[He also understands that Hyoga will probably be wishing that he never saw them himself if he stays long enough for it. Then again it's May, it should be relatively safe.]

Go get my cloth at some point. [ get not look for, he can already feel it at the edge of his senses anyways. he's not really in a hurry. ]

After that I'll probably try to look around. I want to see the limits of this place myself. [ he's sure anything he'd do that's not crazy stupid Ikki has done but regardless he needs to see for himself. ]

[Ikki's opinion of Hyoga would fall down a very deep cliff if he needed to "look for" his Cloth. Ikki doubts Hyoga will find a way out or something new, but one never knows and he's definitively not going to tell someone to not try it. He still tries it himself after all.]

Sounds like a good plan. I suggest getting your Cloth sooner than later, even if no one else can use it it's not good to leave it at the store for long.

[He doesn't have his but that's because it's in the apartment, it took him a long while to stop carrying it around.]

There are plenty of places to camp safely. And there are those New Feather stations around where you can crash for the night if you prefer that... I suggest you getting food before you go anywhere, hunting here isn't a good idea. Unless you are sure you have the stomach to eat something that talks.

[And as if on cue the Hyoga puppy barks again, but it doesn't just bark it actually talks even if not much.]

[Ikki just... Laughs at Hyoga. Okay, it's not really a laugh, mostly a rumbling chuckle, but he doesn't bother to hide it or the smirk he has in his face. He doesn't bother with an answer... Yet.]
